Scent (Mareld)
- Top: Salted Fig, Bergamot, Eucalyptus
- Heart: Violet, Mimosa, Marine Notes
- Base: Tonka Wood, Clary Sage, Seaweed
Mareld means Sea-fire in old Scandinavian language, sometimes also referred to as a Sea ghost. The scent of Mareld is inspired by a rare phenomenon of the sea, where seemingly magical creatures illuminate dark waters and leave rays of a blue bioluminescent glow. As if the stars have plummeted from the sky to dance on the water.
Evoking the scent of a midnight swim in Nordic waters that leave the skin salty and cold and the spirit free. Notes of crashing waves and seaweed turn into warm scents of Bergamot, Violet and Tonka wood, leaving a hypnotic scent of stormy seas on the skin.
Sometimes we forget the raw magic that surrounds us. Marled evokes that rare and liberating feeling.
